Focus and Scope
LINGUAVERSE: Journal of English Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by ASA Education and Research Institute (AERI). The journal serves as a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to disseminate original research articles, conceptual papers, and literature reviews in the field of English studies.
The journal focuses on three main areas:
1. English Linguistics
This area covers studies related to language structure, use, and development, including but not limited to applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, discourse analysis, pragmatics, translation studies, and other related linguistic inquiries.
2. Literature
This scope includes English literature studies, literary criticism, cultural studies, comparative literature, and interdisciplinary approaches to literary analysis that explore texts, contexts, and meanings across cultures and periods.
3. English Education
This section welcomes research on English language teaching and learning, including TEFL/TESOL, EFL pedagogy, curriculum and assessment, language learning strategies, classroom practices, educational technology in English education, and teacher professional development.
LINGUAVERSE encourages contributions that offer theoretical insights, empirical findings, and practical implications to advance knowledge and practice in linguistics, literature, and English education, particularly in EFL contexts.
