Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to LINGUAVERSE: Journal of English Studies undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance.

The journal applies a double-blind peer review system, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.


Review Stages

  1. Initial Screening
    The editorial team evaluates the submitted manuscript for scope relevance, formatting compliance, and plagiarism. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal requirements may be returned to authors or rejected at this stage.

  2. Reviewer Assignment
    Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

  3. Peer Review
    Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, significance, and contribution to the field. They provide constructive feedback and recommendations.

  4. Editorial Decision
    Based on reviewers’ reports, the editor makes one of the following decisions:

– Accept
– Minor Revision
– Major Revision
– Reject

  1. Revision Process
    Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified timeframe.

  2. Final Decision
    The editor evaluates the revised manuscript and makes the final publication decision.


Review Timeline

The typical review process takes approximately 1–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and revision duration.


Confidentiality

All submitted manuscripts and reviewer reports are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not disclose any information related to the manuscript to third parties.
